Why we partnered with Fireflies

Founded in 2016, Fireflies brings together and organizes all voice conversations within one place. The key features of Fireflies are the recording and transcribing of voice conversations like video meetings. Through integrations with leading web conferencing, Fireflies could instantly capture and transcribe live meetings using the AI assistant so you can focus on the meetings without having to worry about note-taking.

The transcription can then be used and distributed for different purposes: be it adding comments and flagging important moments, searching for specific discussion points, or analysing the calls using conversation intelligence. Fireflies integrate seamlessly with different CRM and collaboration apps, allowing it to be used for different purposes, for example, sales and marketing, education, recruitment, or media and podcasting.

What the benefits are for BFG portfolio companies

Through the “Fireflies for Startups” program, eligible BFG portfolio startups will benefit from getting up to $500 in credits on Fireflies’ monthly Business plan for teams. This plan allows the team to utilize all advanced features of Fireflies with unlimited integrations, transcription credits, and storage. Startups that have raised less than $5 million in total funding and have been incorporated less than 5 years ago are eligible to apply for the program.
