About EkoLance and techFiesta

Founded in 2022 as part of Cohort 1 of the BFG Superstars program, EkoLance has emerged as a leading provider of web3 training, connecting professionals with job and funding opportunities. So far they've trained over 9000 professionals and partnered with more than 60 corporations. 

In 2023, EkoLance introduced techFiesta, a community platform for web3 builders and professionals to participate in a variety of virtual hackathons with the chance to receive grants. TechFiesta is attended by over 10,000 hackers who have built over 380 dApps and received more than 500,000 USD in grants so far. The blockchain protocols they are working with include Solana, Gnosis Chain, Celo, Aleph Zero, and more. About the partnership

The Blockchain Founders Group and EkoLance are teaming up to help each other find talented entrepreneurs and exciting projects for their programs. Members of the BFG community who are not quite ready yet for their accelerator programs can join hackathons held on techFiesta to practice and prepare their projects and receive first grants. Participants in the hackathons can then take their projects to the next step by applying to BFG’s accelerator programs. BFG's accelerator programs are tailored to early-stage startups in the MVP phase to help them achieve product-market fit. The accelerator programs include masterclasses, mentoring, access to a strong network of industry experts, and financial support of up to €120,000 per project.

Furthermore, BFG contributes to the success of these hackathons by holding a session focused on helping participants transform their projects into viable and successful startups. The session offers practical advice for validating ideas, developing a business plan, securing financing and overcoming challenges. It will be held on an ongoing basis starting May 16. EkoLance will post information on how to attend each session via its social media channels (LinkedIn and X).
