(Senior) Investment Manager (m/f/d) Blockchain/Web3 Accelerator

About Blockchain Founders Group GmbH
Blockchain Founders Group GmbH is a leading Web3 Accelerator. We invest globally at a very early stage in promising startups from the blockchain and Web3 scene. Our accelerator program, which we run twice a year, identifies innovative Web3 founders and develops unique MVPs with them. Our portfolio currently comprises a total of 26 investments and we expand this by around 10-12 investments every year. To strengthen our presence in the DACH region, we are now looking for a (Senior) Investment Manager in Germany.
Your Responsibilities
- You are jointly responsible for the entire accelerator process, from the application phase through the selection of startups to the implementation of the program and the presentation of the best startups to the investment committee.
- You conduct due diligences and support contract and investment negotiations.
- You oversee parts of our portfolio companies both operationally and strategically and act as an active sparring partner in all entrepreneurial matters for our founders and co-shareholders of the portfolio companies.
- You actively expand our network of founders, investors, and Web3 partners.
- You participate in tech and startup events from the scene and represent the Blockchain Founders Group as a leading accelerator in the Web3/blockchain industry.
- You contribute to the continuous development of our accelerator program through new best practices or lessons learned.
Your Profile
- You have completed your studies with a focus on business administration, industrial engineering, or IT, or have a comparable education with excellent results (at least a bachelor's degree).
- You bring professional experience from other accelerators, investment banking, strategy and transaction consulting, or from M&A, VC, PE sectors.
- You have extensive knowledge of blockchain technology, are familiar with areas such as Bitcoin, tokenization, RWA, securities, NFTs, and payment topics, and have a strong affinity for new technologies and the startup scene.
- You possess excellent analytical skills, work independently, and can clearly and understandably formulate and present your analyses and assessments in concepts and decision templates.
- You are motivated to actively contribute to the growth of our accelerator and shape the development of our portfolio.
- You want to take responsibility for the entire investment/participation process and individual portfolio companies and independently drive your projects forward.
- You already have an excellent network of Web3 stakeholders (foundations, CEXs, Web3 protocols, VCs, angels, etc.) and are ready to continuously expand this together with the Blockchain Founders Group.
- You have an independent working style and are also a team player who takes clear ownership.
- Ideally, you bring experience from the startup environment and have already founded a startup yourself.
- You speak fluent English and German.
